|Stiebel Heater Review,
I purchased this heater to mount over the door in our bathroom due to that being the only place that it could logically be located. The reason for needing the heater is that the bathroom is at the end of the central heat duct run and in addition had three walls exposed to the outside, one of which was a north facing exposure. The temperature was always a little cool in that room. The installation included putting a wall switch below the unit so that it could be turned off without climbing up to manually turn the thermostat off.
We had the unit professionally installed and have used the heater for about three weeks – the heater fan does not blow hard but has kept the room very comfortable. The thermostat seems to work very well. The noise when it is on is minimal. The styling of the unit makes it blend into the room without it shouting HEATER!
If you are expecting a heater that you can turn on when you are in the room and it heat up the room quickly, this unit is not for you. I think that the application that I am using it for (an adjunct to the central heat) is a very good application for this unit.
